NOTES:

1. New instrument torque and threshold specications are maximum values

2. Values shown are maximum torque to maintain instrument threshold at or below 0.5 m/s and 1.0 m/s respectively.

3. EPA and NRC instrument specications designate 0.5 m/s wind speed starting threshold. ASTM D5096-90 "Standard

Test Method for Determining the Performance of a Cup Anemometer or Propeller Anemometer" denes "starting

threshold" and outlines a method for its determination.
